Simple Eyeliner

Simple Eyeliner

simple eyelinerAh, finally, a simple eyeliner tutorial. The beauty of the lined eye is hard to dispute, though this “why-can’t-I-wake-up-ready-to-leave-the-house” girl would love to argue. Though I really do love the natural and even naked eye look, the allure of the beautifully lined eye is difficult to resist. I mean, it’s literally been around for over twelve thousand years! If people have loved eyeliner for over twelve thousand years, then there must be something to it.

The powerful, sexy, smoldering, or sweetly lined eye brings the attention to the windows of the soul. If done well, even simple eyeliner can make the eye the centerpiece of every interaction, which is quite the point. When you are having a conversation with someone, where do you look? When you are trying to get someone’s attention, where do you look? Or when you are reading someone’s mood, or expression? Yep. The eyes have it.

Think of all the ways that  you communicate with your eyes. Just stand in front of the mirror and talk to yourself, just as an experiment, of course! You may be surprised at all the little dances your eyes do as you express yourself. They give you away. That’s the reason why people often drop their eyes if they are feeling vulnerable, or even being dishonest. The eyes tell it all.

Laughing, twinkling, merry eyes are one of the most beautiful of sights. Even these eyes can be made more beautiful by a simple eyeliner. To help others laugh and feel joy is such a fabulous gift. Everyone needs more light and laughter in their lives, so if you are one who brings that gift to the world, I thank you.

Sparkling, white, healthy eyes make the prettiest canvas for simple eyeliner. Your eyes really do show the state of your health, so take care of your amazing body. Eat right, exercise, drink plenty of water, get lots of sleep, and control stress. Your health is something to be cherished and honored, so do care well for your body. Your eyes will thank you!

Simple eyeliner is my daily go-to because other eyeliner styles take more time than I am normally willing to give. I do love to experiment with some of those styles, like a beautiful smokey eye eyeliner, or a dramatic wing, or even the dreaded liquid eyeliner look. Those looks really do take more time, so I usually reserve them for special occasions, but, hey, at least I try! The fun thing about makeup is that you can create a new look every single day if you want, or, like me, you can have your standard, easy daily go-to. As long as you feel confident and beautiful, nothing else about makeup really matters.

Truly though, I have been looking at so many beautiful eyeliner ideas and pictures, that I am inspired to give some of them a go. You can change the shape of your eyes if you want from day to day. It’s really crazy what you can do with eye makeup, a good tutorial, a steady hand, and your own creativity! It’s really fun!!! Be courageous and try something new! I will too!

For today, let me give you my simple eyeliner look. Your eyes will pop, even with this more subtle and natural looking eyeliner look.
